Dear sir

I am writing to request access to certain records and information under the Freedom information and protection of privacy. I am seeking information related to the tickets and fines given by the RCMP to the people related to traffic control in Surrey from the year 2018 to 2022.

I'm interested in knowing how many citations are issued for driving while intoxicated and over the speed limit, as well as for safety concerns. I also want to know how much money is fined for each offence from 2018 to 2022.

I believe that this information falls within the scope of the public records maintained by the RCMP and I making this request for my research or aware to public about it.

I am prepared to pay any reasonable fee associated with processing this request .Please inform of any fee in advance and i would appreciate it if you could provide the request information in an electronic format, if possible.

I understand this request allows for 30 days to response period. If for any reason you anticipate that this deadline cannot be met, please inform me as soon as possible. If you require any further information or clarification to process the request please do not hesitate to contact me at cell number (604 6181049)

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response

Sincerely

Harnoorveer Singh

Explanation for request

This request asks how many people from 2018 to 2022 receive driving-related tickets, how much money they waste, and which age groups receive the most tickets as a result of the harsh driving that occurred in previous years, such as driving at high speeds and occasionally running red lights. In some cases, the police will suspend the driver's license  for the entire year. By making this request, we are provided with information, and as a result, we are made aware of the fact that people prefer to drive carefully and save money by doing so.
